PCI data security standard

PCI, developed by Visa_^® and MasterCard^®, is a data security standard the use of which is required from Point-of Sale vendors, merchants and banks worldwide. PCI is a set of data security regulations whose compliance is required from parties processing card transactions.

To validate the compliance with the PCI data security standard Visa^® and MasterCard^® have trained and approved private and public companies that have officially been approved, or accredited, as PCI auditors. PCI compliance is checked through auditing the companies in the payments industry and their modes of operation and implementation solutions.

On December 6^th 2006 Rahaxi achieved full PCI/AIS certification. Our PCI auditor, accredited by Visa^® and MasterCard^®.
